Transport-level security is a major security consideration for any organization and can significantly impact server and client-level security methods . Securing the communications between users and servers on a network is vital , and in some cases required by law. This chapter examined the various transport-level security methods supported by Windows Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2003 and provided best practices for securely configuring and effectively locking down an organization's transmission of data. |
