In this chapter, you learned more about working with controls in ASP.NET Web pages not only did you work with an array of new controls, but you also learned more about setting their properties and responding to events. You also learned another useful technique for storing values (maintaining state) that you ll need later namely, how to read and write cookies.
In the next chapter, you ll leave the slideshow behind and work on something new. Cast your mind back (or fire up your search engine) to remember all the witty things you ve overheard, because you ll create a page that displays quotations at random in Chapter 7.
