Looking Ahead

In this chapter, you learned how to create a custom-formatted data display, which you practiced by creating a page to display the Guestbook entries from Chapter 10. Using what you ve learned about the DataList and Repeater controls and about templates, you ll be able to create formatted output for any database table.

In the next chapter, you ll continue your work with databases. You ll revisit the slideshow you worked with in Chapter 5, but this time you ll create a much more powerful slideshow that will let you define multiple slideshows and pick the one you want to see.
