Summary

Every project team needs closure at the end of the project. We call this the post-mortem. Other people call it the project retrospective. It is a time for the team to reflect on their experiences ”what worked and what didn't work. More importantly, it's a time to make things better for the next project. Take time to make your post-mortem valued by and valuable to the whole team.

Well, that's it. We have certainly enjoyed telling our story. We hope you have enjoyed reading it. More importantly, we hope that we have helped you appreciate how a process like RUP, along with a good set of tools and attention to people issues, can help you on your next small project. We encourage you to send us [3] your own success stories and lessons learned. Good luck on your future projects!
