C.24. Control panels

There are no control panels in Mac OS X. Instead, there's a program called System Preferences that handles the various hardware and software settings formerly configured with control panels. Choose a System Preferences, or click the System Preferences icon on the Dock. (System Preferences is also in the Applications folder.)
