Opening and Saving the Project


Now that you've seen an example of finished free-form shapes, let's try creating them using the Bezier and BSpline tools. First, let's open the 7-1 B-Shapes start project using a contextual menu in the File Browser.

1.

In the Lesson_07 folder, Ctrl-click the 7-1 B-Shapes start project and select Reveal in Finder from the contextual menu.

The Finder opens with the 7-1 B-Shapes start project already selected.

2.

Double-click the 7-1 B-Shapes start project in the Finder to open the project in Motion.

The 7-1 B-Shapes start project opens.

3.

Choose File > Save As and save the 7-1 B-Shapes start project in the My Motion Projects folder on the Desktop.

Mastering these tools can take some time, so to make things easier, let's use existing objects as a guide.
