Making Adjustments, Rendering, and Exporting

Press the Spacebar on your keyboard or click the Play button on the Monitor panel to test your project and see that everything is working as expected. Remember, all of your clips are still in preview mode. If you want a better idea of how the whole thing will look when finished, press ENTER on your keyboard to render the project first. Make any final tweaks, as neededfor example, you might want to fade out both the goggles and the nightsuspects clipsand you'll be ready to export your project to a movie file.

Finishing the Project

After you have played back your clip and made the necessary adjustments, press the ENTER key on your keyboard to render your project.

Press CTRL-S to save your project (or you can select File, Save from the menu).

Finally, export your work as an AVI file. To export the clip, select File, Export, Movie.

Tip

You can optionally bring this clip into a larger project, show it on your computer, upload it to an Internet video sharing site, or burn it to a DVD.
