Chapter 22. Security Testing

Testing is the only way to be sure that the proactive protection processes which were put in place are working appropriately. The tests should determine the quality of the implementation. This should focus on evaluating the level of compliance to the policies and the completeness of the implementation. Security procedures must be practiced throughout the organization. The evaluation will determine the effectiveness of the current security environment and may highlight areas that were not previously considered .
