Although telecommuting can greatly enhance your lifestyle, it is still subject to overwork and a lack of life/work balance. The home office is readily available 24 hours per day. Often, the telecommuter might find himself wandering back into the office in the evening and on weekends.

This can lead to resentment from your family and ultimately can lead to burnout.

Understanding the benefits and creating necessary boundaries can go a long way toward making telecommuting a highly productive option for your career.
