Setting Movie Properties

Movie properties are settings that affect an entire movie. Unlike General Preferences, they affect only the movie that's currently being worked on. When you save a movie, its properties are saved with it.

As with General Preferences, it's a good idea to leave these settings at their default values until you get more experience with the program.

To set movie properties:

  1. Open an existing movie or create a new movie.

  2. Choose Modify > Movie > Properties to display the Movie tab of the Property Inspector ( Figure 1.10 ).

  3. Adjust settings as necessary.
