Formatting Characters , Paragraphs, and PagesThe formatting that you can apply to individual characters ”fonts, font sizes, bold, italic, underline, and so on ”as well as paragraphs and entire pages is referred to as font formatting . You can apply font formatting to as little as one character, or as much as an entire document. Paragraph formatting includes all of the formatting that can affect, at a minimum, a single paragraph. Paragraph formatting features as alignment, line spacing, custom tabs, and indentation. Some of these you will almost certainly need at some point. Page formatting includes all of the formatting that affects the entire page, including margins, paper size, page numbers , and so on. |
