What Is Multimedia?

Multimedia is sound, pictures, and video that can be used in a presentation to dazzle and entertain an audience. You use multimedia objects, such as clip art, photos, pictures, sound clips, music files you may have on your computer, music or other CD tracks, custom soundtracks , voice narration, and video ”in other words, the things that make people say "ooh" and "aah" as you present your PowerPoint slide show.

Other than a gratifying audience response, why would you want to add these fancy multimedia objects to your PowerPoint presentation? After all, you might already have some nice clip art built into your slide show. You can add more pizzazz to your presentation by incorporating multimedia files. It's been said that a picture is worth a thousand words, so imagine how much more you can say when you can add a photo, music, or video clip to your presentation!
