Inserting and Deleting Columns and RowsYou can add extra columns or rows easily to a table at any time. When you add extra columns or rows to a table, the table object will probably become bigger than the slide. You may need to resize the table so that it will fit. Inserting and Deleting ColumnsTo insert a column to the left of the current insertion point's position, position the cursor (insertion point) in a cell to the right of where you want the new column. Then simply select Table, Insert Columns to the Left from the Tables and Borders toolbar. To insert a column to the right of the current insertion point's position, position the cursor (insertion point) in a cell to the left of where you want the new column. Now you should select Table, Insert Columns to the Right from the Tables and Borders toolbar.
Deleting a column is comparably easy. To delete a column, click in any cell in the column you want to delete. Now select Table, Delete Columns from the Tables and Borders toolbar. Inserting and Deleting RowsInserting rows is just as simple. To insert a row above the current insertion point's position, position the cursor (insertion point) in a cell below where you want the new row. Now from the Tables and Borders toolbar, select Table, Insert Rows Above. To insert a row below the current insertion point's position, first position the cursor (insertion point) in a cell above where you want the new row. Now go to the Tables and Borders toolbar and select Table, Insert Rows Below. Deleting a row is comparably easy. To delete a row, first click in any cell in the row you want to delete.
