Selecting Text and Text Objects

Before you can move text or change any of the text attributes, you need to know how to select text. Most of the objects and elements that have been selected up to this point have been triggered by simply clicking on the item you want to select. When you're working with text information, the process is slightly different. You will need to either edit only a portion of the text, or apply a formatting option to all of the text. Text is selected when it's highlighted in black just as it is in Word and the other Office programs.
