After you have installed the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack, you must import the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack contents into your Movie Maker collection before you can use the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack content in your movies.

The Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack music tracks and music transitions provide several music samples and music transitions you can place in your movie. You will place these on the timeline's Audio/Music track so that the music or transition occurs at the appropriate location in your movie. The following steps request that you listen to a couple of the music tracks that you import. As you listen to a music transition track, you might be surprised at how the music seems to lead you from one scene to another.

1. Select File, Import into Collections
   
   You must import the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack music samples and music transitions into Movie Maker before you can use the music samples and music transitions. Select Import into Collections from the File menu.
   
   
2. Select My Documents
   
   Select the My Documents folder to begin browsing to the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack content.
   
   

   TIP

   

   If you have already imported the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack content into Movie Maker, you can skip to step 8 to preview the music samples and music transitions that you can place in your movies.

3. Select My Videos
   
   Select to open the My Videos folder.
   
   
4. Select Creativity Fun Packs
   
   Select to open the Creativity Fun Packs folder.
   
   
5. Select Music Tracks and Music Transitions
   
   Select to open the folder named Music Tracks and Music Transitions .
   
   
6. Press Ctrl+A
   
   You'll want to import all the music tracks and music transitions into your Collections pane. Press Ctrl+A to select all the music tracks and music transitions.
   
   
7. Click to Import
   
   Click the Import button to import the music tracks and music transitions into Movie Maker.
   
   

   NOTE

   

   After you import the music tracks and music transitions into your collection, you can drag any of them to the timeline's Audio/Music track at the location in your movie where you want the music or music transition to start ( see 48 Add a Soundtrack to Your Video and 55 Add Sound Effects to Your Movie ).

8. Click to Select
   
   Click to select the music track named Ceremonial Music, Brass . This music track will remind you of military- related movies you've seen before.
   
   
9. Click to Listen
   
   Click the Play button on the Monitor pane to hear the music track. Review the other transitions also to see what new features you might want to add to your movies.
