After you have installed the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack, you must import the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack contents into your Movie Maker collection before you can use the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack content in your movies.

The Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack static titles provide several backgrounds on which you can place text. Many of the static titles are related to holidays such as Mother's Day, so you can extend your movie's theme to the beginning or ending titles or scene, changing text that you place on the static title backgrounds.

  1. Select File, Import into Collections

    You must import the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack static titles into Movie Maker before you can use the static titles. Select Import into Collections from the File menu.

    If you have already imported the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack content into Movie Maker, you can skip to step 8 to preview the static titles that you can use in your movies.

  2. Select My Documents

    Select the My Documents folder to begin browsing to the Movie Maker Creativity Fun Pack content.

  3. Select My Videos

    Select to open the My Videos folder.

  4. Select Creativity Fun Packs

    Select to open the Creativity Fun Packs folder.

  5. Select Static Titles

    Select to open the folder named Static Titles .

  6. Press Ctrl+A

    You'll want to import all the static titles into your Collections pane. Press Ctrl+A to select all the static titles.

  7. Click to Import

    Click the Import button to import the static titles into Movie Maker. Movie Maker begins the importing of your static titles. The import can take a minute or more depending on the speed of your computer.

    After you import the static titles into your collection, you can drag any title to your storyboard/timeline in your movie to place the static title in your movie.

  8. Review Titles

    Scroll through the new static titles that now appear.

  9. Drag to Storyboard

    Drag the Plus! static title to your storyboard at the location where you want your audience to see the static title.

  10. Place Text on Static Title

    After you drag a static title to the storyboard, you should place text on the static title. See 76 Put a Title on a Clip to learn how to do this.
