Changing the OLAP Database Location

An OLAP grid points to a specific OLAP cube location on a server. If that location changes, or if you want to report on a different cube without redesigning the entire OLAP grid, you need to change the location of the OLAP database that the grid refers to.

Select the OLAP grid you want to change by clicking its upper-left corner. Right-click and choose Set OLAP Cube Location from the pop-up menu, or choose Database Set OLAP Cube Location from the pull-down menus . The Set OLAP Cube Location dialog box appears.

Click the Select button to choose the new OLAP cube or new server location for the associated OLAP database. Then click OK.
