Starting the Developer Studio
In Chapter 2, you learned that starting the Visual C++ IDE (integrated development environment) is easy. If you are using a mouse, you can double-click on the Visual C++ icon, which is found in the Microsoft Visual C++ group.
Alternatively, you can access the Windows menu system by doing the following numbered steps:
1.
Simultaneously pressing CTRL-ESC;
2.
Enter P for Programs group;
3.
Followed by repeated presses of the CURSOR-DOWN key until the Microsoft Visual C++ Group is highlighted;
4.
Next, pressing the RIGHT-ARROW cursor key;
5.
Followed by repeated presses of the CURSOR-DOWN key until the Microsoft Visual C++ program is highlighted;
6.
Then pressing the ENTER key!
