ATL vs. ActiveX
Microsoft claims that the use of ATL is easier than the use of the MFC for many applications. Did you find the development of the ATL control in this chapter simpler than the development of the ActiveX control in Chapter 26? We think they are about the same. ATL is certainly a reasonable alternative to control development in the MFC.
