Execute command-line compositing

This lesson shows you how to use Shake in the OS X Terminal program to launch flipbooks, perform file conversions, launch scripts, and generally execute any string of commands that are also available in the interface. I highly encourage you to learn the command-line syntax, because it often provides a much easier way to do certain tasks than firing up the interface.

You can use the command line to composite clips efficiently in Shake without launching the interface.
