Chapter 15. Working with Reviews and Markups

For those of you who need to review documents for approval or to input comments as feedback, this chapter is for you. The new Adobe Reader 7 software extends the comment and review features, offering you great opportunities to participate in review sessions.

Reviews can be email-based or browser-based. But in either case you must receive an invitation to participate from a PDF author who enables a PDF file with Reader usage rights. You make comments in a PDF document and submit your comments to the PDF author either as an email attachment or as an upload to a server. As you and other participants make comments, you can receive and add further comments to the document in review. If you have several reviews in progress, you can use Adobe Reader's Tracker window to manage reviews.
