organize media window

If your project only contains a few video files, organizing the Media window isn't important. Since this project includes multiple videos, still images, background music, narration and several titles, which all are stored in the Media window, organization is essential to avoid wasting time looking for project assets.

For projects like these, I always store my audio, video, still images and titles in separate folders. Here's how to create the folders and drag your content into them.

Click the Media window, then right click and choose New Folder.

Here's the new folder. Type the desired name.

Now drag all content into the new folder.

All videos are now in the video folder. Click the triangle beside the folder icon to open and close the folder.
