Charles is the secretary for a neighborhood group that meets on the first Tuesday of every month. He has an alarm reminder set for two days in advance of each meeting so that he remembers to use Tasks to set the agenda (by creating a category called "Meeting agenda" see chapter 10). During the meeting, the agenda items show up on his Calendar's Agenda View. As each item is discussed, he checks it off.
Look ahead and back
Tap the top arrows
In Day, Week, and Month Views, the top-right part of the screen highlights the currently displayed period. Click the left and right arrows to quickly move back and forth through your calendar.
Jump around faster
In the same views, you can scan ahead or back without using the stylus. Just press right or left on the navigator to move forward or backward at day, week, or month intervals.
Keep an event under wraps
If anyone else uses your handheld, you might want to hide private events such as surprise parties. From the Home screen, go to Options > Security to show, mask, or hide entries. Mark an entry private to mask it with a gray bar or hide it completely. Remember that if you haven't set a password, masked and hidden entries are vulnerable.
Chapter 6: Did you discover how to...
Enter appointment information in a few seconds?… Use categories to see how much time you'll be spending on that huge new work project?… Schedule a visit to the gym every three days?… Purge events but keep an archive, just in case?
