Start your week Sunday or Monday To change the start of your week from Sunday to Monday, or vice versa, go to the Home screen and select Preferences > Formats. |
Add names and numbers fast Use Phone Lookup () when you're planning an event. It automatically takes you to Contacts, where you select a person's name and contact info and drop it into the event. |

Schedule downtime Schedule free time as a recurring event and mark it as private. Go to Options > Security and select Mask Records. Your free time is now a block of lovely gray. |
Mute alarms To mute Calendar's alarms when you're at a meeting or luncheon, go to the Home screen and select Prefs > Sounds & Alerts > Silent. Turn the power off. Any alarms will be there for you when quiet time is over. |
Calendar tips Create an event fast by tapping a time on the left side of Day View. When you don't have a specific start or end time, you can still create an event. Tap No Time when the Set Time box comes up. Events without times are marked by a diamond. When you schedule overlapping events, the bars in Week View appear side-by-side.

Hold on to important events Repeating events don't get purged. So if you have a special event you want to remember, such as your graduation, set it up as an event that repeats every so many years. |
Procrastinate If you tap a task in Agenda View, the handheld goes directly to Tasks. From there, tap the Date column and delay the task for a day or a week. Just like that, it disappears from Agenda View. |
