Active Directory Schema

In this chapter, I'll describe in more detail the makeup of the Active Directory schema. In the first part of the chapter, I'll explain how classes and attributes are structured and defined. Toward the end of the chapter, I'll show how to modify the default schema by adding a new attribute and a new class to the directory.
