Working with the 2D Draw Control Panel


You'll be using the 2D Draw control panel frequently in this chapter, so you should keep a couple of facts in mind. The 2D Draw control panel consists of two rows of tools. The top row of tools consists of tools that let you add different types of objects to your drawing, such as arcs, lines, and circles. This top row corresponds to the Draw menu in the menu bar. The second row consists of tools that let you edit or modify existing objects in your drawing. This second row corresponds to the Modify menu in the menu bar.

You'll also want to be aware of the fly-out toolbars in the 2D Draw control panel. You might recall from Chapter 1 that the fly-out toolbars are the ones that appear when you click and drag the downward-pointing arrow to the far right end of the row of tools (see Figure 1.8). In this chapter, you'll use several tools in those fly-out toolbars.
