Finding the Time Spent on a Drawing


You might want to find out how much time you actually spent on a drawing for billing purposes, or you might just want to keep track of how long a drawing takes. Using the Time command is a quick way to get this information:

  1. Choose Tools è Inquiry è Time, or enter Time at the command prompt.

  2. The Text window displays the time information, as shown in Figure 11.7.

  3. At the Enter option [Display/ON/OFF/Reset]: prompt, press to exit the Time command.

As you can see from Figure 11.7, the information is self-explanatory. You can also turn the timer off by entering Off at the prompt in step 3, or you can reset the timer to clear the current values by entering r.
