Identify training that might be required for the IT staff and users. User training for the OS will likely be minimal if any at all. Most users have Windows XP on their client workstation or on their home computer, so they will likely already be familiar with it. However, the IT staff should get upgrade training for Windows 2003. Microsoft offers a number of upgrade courses that will suffice. You should augment that with personalized training you conduct on the new environment regarding what has changed. I recommend making a list of courses ”from Microsoft, other third-party vendors , or perhaps some in-house training specific to your environment ”for various levels of Administrators. One good place to start is Microsoft's Web site at http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/training/find/findcourse.asp . |
