Updating Your Blog

To update your blog and add new entries to it, you must return to the main Blogger site at http://www.blogger.com/. If you aren't automatically logged in, be sure to log back in using the username and password you created earlier in the hour. You'll then be taken to the Blogger Dashboard, where you can see all the blogs you currently have set up. Figure 21.11 shows the Dashboard with the Music City Mafia blog in view.

For an extremely practical example of a blog that can really help you out, check out HTML Dog at http://www.htmldog.com/. This blog focuses on HTML and CSS, and is an excellent online source for web page development information.

Out beside the blog name in the figure, you'll notice a plus sign and a gear icon. The plus sign is what you click to create a new blog entry, and the gear icon allows you to change the settings for the blog. Clicking the blog name directly will take you to a listing of all the blog entries for the blog, where you can view, edit, delete, and otherwise manage them.
