Don't exaggerate facts. Don't 'elasticate' the hard information. Honesty and integrity always pay off in the end. Act dishonestly and you launch a boomerang. It has the uncanny ability of coming back and hitting you on the head!
Don't assume facts. Don't assume you have judged your counterpart's mood or feelings correctly - always check with W questions.
Be patient. Delay is always frustrating, but it is always better than a bad decision. Rushed decisions are usually bad for both parties.
If you are going to introduce extra terms or extra costs, have printed proof.
Don't believe everything you are allowed to hear. Check out the validity of any key information you are allowed to overhear.
