Ignoring the Facts: Fraud Is Not Free

If you are the victim of fraud on your phone system, you aren’t guaranteed credit from your carrier. Legally, every call placed over your phone line is legitimately your responsibility, and your carrier has every right to pursue payment, even if no one at your company made the calls.

 Remember  Some carriers are confident of their fraud departments and state that they will credit the accounts of any customers that experience fraud, but that is the exception and not the rule. Protect your phone system and watch your usage, because in the end, you are still financially responsible for any fraud that is generated from your phone lines.
