Tracking CCNP Status

As soon as you pass any Cisco exam, you must complete a certification agreement. You will not be certified unless you agree to the terms outlined on the agreement.

The Certification Tracking System available at https ://www.certmanager.net/cisco allows you to view your Cisco certification information. Cisco will contact you by email and explain how to use it. Once you are registered into one of the Cisco career certification tracks, you'll be given a login to the Web site.

Once you pass the necessary exams for any of Cisco's certifications and you complete the certification agreement, you'll be certified. About four to six weeks after you are certified, a package will arrive in the mail that contains your Cisco Welcome Kit, which contain a number of items, including

• A certificate that is suitable for framing, along with a laminated wallet card.

• Promotional items, which vary based on your certification.

Many people believe that the benefits of CCNP certification go well beyond the perks that Cisco provides to newly anointed members of this elite group . We're starting to see more job listings that request or require applicants to have CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, and so on, and many individuals who complete Cisco certification programs can qualify for increases in pay and/or responsibility. As an official recognition of hard work and broad knowledge, one of the CCNP credentials is a badge of honor in many IT organizations.
