Enter your user name and password (some information might have been completed for you), and then click the Connect button.
Windows connects to your ISP (Internet service provider). The Internet Explorer window appears, and you see your start page, usually the MSN home page.
INTRODUCTION
After you've set up your Internet connection, you can start Internet Explorer. Before you start browsing the Web, take a look at the different tools within the Internet Explorer window.

If you have problems connecting ”the line is busy, for example ”try again. If you continue to have problems, check with your ISP.

You can use any of the toolbar buttons to navigate from page to page.
When you are done working in Internet Explorer, click its Close button to close the program.
TIP
Log Off
When you exit Internet Explorer, you may be prompted to log off your Internet provider. Click Yes or Disconnect Now . If you are not prompted, be sure to log off. Right-click the connection icon in the status bar and select Disconnect .

To see the name of a button, put the pointer over the button; the name should appear. Most of the other buttons are covered in this part. For help on the features not covered, consult online help.

Connect to ISP
You can connect to an ISP by clicking Start, Connect To and then the name of your connection.
