Task 14: Moving Messages

In the Outlook Express window, select the message you want to move. Drag the message from the message list to the folder in the Folders list.

The message is moved to that folder. You can click the folder in the Folders list to confirm the move.

INTRODUCTION

If you have set up other mail folders, you can move messages you want to keep from your Inbox to these other folders. You can also move folders from any of the default mail folders to another folder.

TIP

Use Commands

If you do not like the drag-and-drop method, you can also select the message and then use the Edit, Move to Folder command. Select the folder in which to place the message and click OK .
