Revealing the gap is informative, but it can also be scary, particularly if you are short of the resources needed to do anything about it. No LMS will help you to design classroom events or offline media, but many incorporate tools that can help you to develop online materials.

Note that built-in content creation tools may be useful for creating simple content but are not going to be adequate if you’re looking for state-of-the-art multimedia and interactivity. In these cases you’re much better off looking for a stand-alone tool that generates content that your LMS can support.
