Feeble excuses

This book brings together the articles I have written for IT Training magazine over the past three years, as a handy reference to those who have already read some of the articles and to make them accessible to a wider audience than the magazine’s readership. I have reviewed all the articles to try and ensure that the references are still up-to-date, but with such rapid change in the industry, I cannot guarantee that all the people I interviewed are doing the same jobs for the same organisations or even that these organisations still exist. In this I must ask for your patience. What you will find in all the articles is that the issues are still very much current, many of the problems are still there to be solved and the majority of opportunities have still to be fully exploited. I sincerely hope this book helps you to make your own contribution to the furtherance of e-learning and to its rapid assimilation into the everyday lives of teachers, trainers and learners everywhere.
