J2EE.6.5 Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) 1.1 Requirements

This specification requires that a J2EE product provides support for enterprise beans as specified in the EJB 1.1 specification. The EJB 1.1 specification is included in this volume.

This specification does not impose any additional requirements at this time. However, a future version of this specification will require that J2EE products support the use of RMI-IIOP and the EJB CORBA mapping to access enterprise beans, as specified in the Enterprise JavaBeans to CORBA Mapping document available at the above URL.
