SRV.4.5 Multiple Hosts and Servlet Contexts

SRV.4.5 Multiple Hosts and Servlet Contexts

Many web servers support the ability for multiple logical hosts to share the same IP address on a server. This capability is sometimes referred to as "virtual hosting." If a servlet container's host web server has this capability, each unique logical host must have its own servlet context or set of servlet contexts. A servlet context cannot be shared across virtual hosts.
