Training Instrument 12-5: Priority Matrix
Handout 11-5: Project Case Study (already distributed)
PowerPoint slides 8-24 through 8-26 for the two-day workshop
PowerPoint slides 9-48 through 9-50 for the two-day workshop
flipchart paper.
approximately 10 minutes
Ask participants to work with their teams to complete the priority matrix based on the case study. Have them transfer their matrix to a flipchart page for sharing with the class.
Allow teams to take a minute or two to present their matrix. Point out that it will not be at all unusual for people to have different perceptions of priorities and that in a real project it would be important to reach consensus about the priorities before the project proceeded.
