9.3 Integrity


Integrity means a lack of damage. A fortress that is designed to provide high integrity is one that does its work so that nothing is damaged or left in an incomplete state, even when failures occur within the fortress. Database folks often call this consistency . This topic is highly fortress specific, so I will discuss it along with specific fortress types in Chapters 10 through 12.
