Experienced Premiere users typically have a few editing tricks up their sleeves. Unless you see them at work, you may not come up with them yourself. In this hour I've explained a few of them: highlighting an area of your clip using a matte and a video effect, following action with a track matte or a clipped clip, using virtual clips to circumvent editing roadblocks , and creating mirrored clips with animations and video effects thrown in. And it never hurts to have an Adobe evangelist toss in a few tricks. My favorite is the docking palettes tip. It's a standard part of my workspace setup. |
