Congratulations! You've just bought TOAD and are now getting ready to deploy it in your organization. When TOAD is correctly configured, you will find it to be the single most productive integrated development environment (IDE) for SQL and PL/SQL on the market. With a quarter million registered users and possibly double that using the freeware, TOAD has been almost universally accepted as the "de facto" standard for doing Oracle application development and administration. But even the world's greatest tool requires a little attention to detail for both setup and configuration in order to achieve the greatest success.
