Preparing the Project

To get started, you will launch Final Cut Express and open the Lesson 16 Project file from the Lessons folder.

Note

Some of the exercises in this lesson use functions covered in the "Working with Multiple Tracks" and "Working with Filters" PDFs on the book's DVD.

1.	In Final Cut Express, press Cmd-O and open the Lesson 16 Project file from the Lessons folder on your hard drive. This project has only one empty sequence and no clips. You will begin by importing clips into this project file from the Media folder on your hard drive.
2.	Ctrl-click any open project tabs and choose Close Tab to close the projects.
