The web-based ASC utility provides the ability to easily start and stop, configure, and monitor the 10g AS software. This is the recommended tool for making changes because updates are automatically updated in the metadata repository. The OPMN and DCM utilities provide command-line capabilities that easily stop, start, or check the status of any 10g AS component.
