DDS and WebFacing are Out of Sync

If you change the display file DDS source member and recompile your program to work with the changed display file, you will also have to reconvert this DDS source member to create the corresponding JSPs and XML files in the WebFacing project. If you do not do this, you receive the error shown in Figure 18.11.

The example in Figure 18.11 shows a field being added to the record format.

• To fix this, reconvert the DDS member containing the changed record format.

Sometimes this error will also occur if the publishing failed to finish successfully.

• To fix this, stop the application server, republish the project, and start the application server again.
