About This Chapter
In this chapter, you ll learn how to publish your completed Web applications on a Web server for general use. You ll also learn how to monitor and maintain the application when it s in use so that it continues to perform well as the demands of your users change.
Before You Begin
To complete this chapter, you must:
Have access to a Web server either through a Web hosting service or through your local area network.
Have successfully completed one or more of the Web applications in this book.
Be familiar with Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) and the Microsoft Management Console (MMC).
Have installed Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Professional, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Enterprise Developer, or Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Enterprise Architect. This requirement applies only to the last lesson in this chapter.
