In this chapter, you learn how to configure your ASP.NET applications. In the first section, you are provided with an overview of the different sections contained in a web configuration file. Finally, we discuss the very important topic of protecting your configuration files. You learn how to encrypt different sections of a configuration file so that they cannot be read by human eyes.
