Strategies for Achieving Customer Goals

I l @ ve RuBoard

Once everyone is clear on what the customer is trying to achieve, you can discuss what direction the customer should take and what type of content areas will appear on the site. Several options will arise that the customer has expressed interest in. The next step is to evolve these options into several concepts, which may include

  • Providing product training for vendors , retailers, or staff

  • Providing newsletter registration and mailing to contact interested prospects/customers

  • Providing live chat for online customer support

Defining these directions requires further work. This may include research on the potential idea to find out how feasible it is. Has it been tried elsewhere? If so, how successful was it? Sometimes further input from the customer may be required.
