Reviewing the Application

The files used in this chapter are included on the enclosed CD. The directory structure for the unleashedCafeSite website is displayed in Figure 23.4.

To test the application, you can copy all the files from the CD to the following location:

C:\unleashedCafe

In the previous exercises, we have already established the following:

• The web server IIS

• A website unleashedCafeSite

• The application server ColdFusion

If all of the preceding items have been installed successfully, you should be able to open your default browser and type in the following:

 http://localhost/unleashedCafeSite/unleashedCafeMain.html 

The home page for the unleashedCafeSite should be displayed in your browser. (Refer to Figure 23.5.) You should see a listing of delectable food; if you select an item, you can view the details and an image of the plate. All this data is stored in the database! It is not local nor built into the .swf file. This is dynamic datathe beauty of Flash Remoting.

After successfully reviewing the application, delete all files in C:\unleashedCafe except cafedata.mdb and \images (the images directory).
