When I first started working with ADO.NET, I, like other developers, trainers, mentors, and architects, found that many of the techniques we've used for years in DAO, RDO, and ADO are no longer available. However, as we learn to adapt, it seems that easy work-arounds for some of our tried-and-true approaches have appeared. This appendix discussed one such work-around. In other cases, our well-worn techniques might not have been such good ideas in the first place. |
